Hazy, surf-rock band, Black Surf (London, UK) got in touch with a cool nostalgic brief. Being true to the era from which their music was birthed, they wanted to create a cassette tape to release their album.

This was a fun project to research, regressing back to my early teens and reminiscing over my most beloved cassette albums that were so engrained in my formative years. It was a hell of a lot of fun, recreating the same tactile excitement on the pages of the lyric booklet. Making something i could imagine reading on repeat whilst flipping between cassette sides on my Walkman.

And to top it all… they’re a great band too!
